Temporomandibular Disorder
What is Temporomandibular Disorder?
Clinical problems involving the muscles of mastication, the temporomandibular joints (TMJ) and its associated structures.
There is clinical significance of manual therapeutic treatment in the management or resolution of TMJ Disorder. Treatment is patient-focused, evidence informed and comprehensive, incorporating gentle osteopathic manipulation of the joints, neuromuscular facilitation, and myofascial release of the soft tissues of the jaw and neck to effectively correct dysfunction.
Schedule an appointment for an assessment and treatment to mitigate your discomfort, create healthier soft tissue structures and a better functioning jaw.
