As you are aware, on Friday November 20th Ontario Premier Doug Ford announced that Toronto will enter lockdown today, Monday November 23rd until at least December 21st.
Under the guidance of the Ministry of Health, the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario has announced that the restrictions do not directly impact the ability of Massage Therapists to provide healthcare services in a clinical setting as we are regulated healthcare practitioners. I am permitted to provide you with on-going care.
I have worked diligently throughout this pandemic and will continue to do so to ensure that I am going above and beyond regulations to treat you in the most responsible and safest way possible. Your safety will continue to be my top priority. There are many government mandated protocols in place such as pre-screening forms, risk assessment, cleaning, disinfecting, deep sanitization of all areas, contactless booking & payment, and the use of personal protective equipment I am strictly adhering to.
I will keep you informed of any updates from the Ministry of Health or the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario should their position change as well as my own, in the coming days.
